This car is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from my local JDM importer, it reminded me of you guys.
Apparently it's like a GT four wagon; with all the 256 hp, awd goodness. Cool huh? Never heard of it before and very much want.

So much want... Seems like it was Toyota's answer to the Impreza WRX wagon. I feel like popping in Gran Turismo 2 now (I knew some Caldina was in there).

RUS plates, no surprise. From what I've seen, Russia (as you go eastward) has soo many RHD JDM imports like these in traffic it's not even funny. Mostly people carriers though.

They sold these (the body, not the drive train) in great numbers in Europe. It's our Camry if you will, as we don't get the Camry anymore and this is as close as we come to one. It's called the Toyota Avensis here. They're all boring FWD, NA sub 2L gasoline or turbo diesel versions though.

"Caldina", in Italian, means "Slightly warm"
"CaldinO" = masculine
"CaldinA" = feminine
